Retirement Party Dessert Table

Tonight I had the pleasure of designing and catering a dessert table for a retirement party held at a local (Katana) Japanese Restaurant. This table included raspberry white chocolate cupcakes, lemon cream cupcakes, peanut butter cup cupcakes, red velvet cupcakes, thin mint cupcakes, salted caramel cake pops (a big hit), and s'mores cake pops. The center vase had white light strung throughout the branches which gave a very nice, warm feel to the table.

Dr. Suess Themed Baby Shower

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to cater a fantastic Dr. Suess themed baby shower. I was so happy with all of the details in this dessert table! We did Truffula tree cake pops (lemon and thin mint flavored), red velvet "thing 1 thing 2 cupcakes", and vanilla "OH the Places You'll Go" cupcakes. The center piece was this three tiered Dr. Suess themed cake.

The mama-to-be is a twin so we did the cupcakes as "thing 1.5", adorable!

Monster Truck 3rd Birthday Party

In late October we celebrated out son Liam's 3rd Birthday Party! We have been talking about his Monster Truck Party for months and he was so excited that today was the big day. He wanted pizza, cupcakes, and lollipops at his party. I loved his dessert table but boy oh boy do i need to move this table in the future for picture taking purposes, the lighting is horrible!

Lollipops per the birthday boys request.

I loved the way his birthday banner turned out, it looked really cute in person.

Happy Birthday to you....

Our favors were monster truck sugar cookies.

The food: pizza (lots and lots of pizza), chicken wing bites (amazing!), fall salad (pear, cranberry, and pecan), and apple cars (which were a huge hit with Liam).

For the last few weeks Liam has talked about wanting a red trumpet and a red rocket ship. He was so excited this morning when he opened his red "trumpet" from Alex and I. He's been playing it all day. We also got him a red rocket ship that he loved playing with, a Monster Truck shirt, a Cars watch, and a Tractor book.

While singing "Happy Birthday"

He was scared of the candle and Dada helped him blow it out

Opening presents...lucky lucky boy!!!

Grandma and Pebbles..... i mean Lucy

Blessed beyond words for each and everyone of these people!

Liam's grand finale present a bicycle from Aunt Debbie,  Uncle Steve, and Nana.

Milk and Cookies 1st Birthday Party

In September we celebrated our daughter Lucy's first birthday with lots of friends and family....and cookies. For the past few months I have been planning a milk and cookies themed birthday party for Lucy. I was so happy with the final outcome today. We went big for this party, it was a labor of love and we all had a wonderful time, definitely worth the effort for my little Lula Bell.

Happy Birthday to you......

Party People!

Food Time! When we moved into our house the old owners had left a milk crate with four bottles from a local dairy. It worked perfectly as a utensil holder for this milk and cookies themed party!

Our menu was a gourmet hot dog bar, broccoli salad, chicken salad on croissants, mac and cheese (Lucy's Favorite), pumpkin dip. apple cider and sweet tea. For dessert we have cookies and cream cupcakes and a cookie buffet for favors.

We used "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" as a guest book for everyone to leave Lucy a little note on her first birthday! I am so excited for her to have such a special book :-)

Present time, lucky lucky lady!

Some of these cake pictures just looked adorable in black and white so i thought i'd share them with you all too.

Thank you to everyone who came today to make Lucy's party so special. Thank you for all of your generous gifts and out pour of love to our little girl. Thank you to my Mom for all of your help with watching the kiddos so i could get stuff done and making a few runs to the grocery store for last minute items. Thank you to my mother in law and grandmother in law for baking some cookies for me and also helping with last minute items. I couldn't have done it without you all.
